Pre-Test Conditions
- Not for children under 6 months of age
- Not for those with severe egg or poultry allergy
- Not for those who have had a severe reaction to a previous influenza vaccine
- Defer vaccination if you have a fever or acute illness
- Children under 9 years receiving their first flu vaccine need 2 doses, 1 month apart
- Annual booster recommended as influenza strains change each season
