Recap: Knowledge-Sharing Activity Updating Safety and Occupational Health Laws, Chonburi Province, March 19, 2026
On March 19, 2026, the Thai Occupational Medicine Foundation, SEMed Living Care Hospital, together with the Chonburi Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office, the Safety Network Association of Thailand, and the training organization Perfect Safety Training and Consulting Co., Ltd., held a training session to spread knowledge to business establishments at the seminar room of the Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel (Chonburi), aiming to strengthen knowledge and legal compliance practices for occupational health and safety personnel at business establishments.
The training session was graciously presided over by Lieutenant Commander Sarote Khomkhai, Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, who presided over the opening ceremony, along with lectures from distinguished speakers on key topics, including: "The Occupational and Environmental Disease Control Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and related laws," presented by a representative from the Division of Occupational and Environmental Diseases, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health; a special lecture on the Employee Welfare Fund and updates to the Labour Protection Act, presented by the Chonburi Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office; and "The Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act B.E. 2554 (2011) and related laws concerning employee health examinations," presented by a representative from the Labour Safety Division, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare.
