History of SEMed Living Care Hospital

A.D.2002-2007

  • Started as a laboratory business in a hospital under the name SEMed Technology and Research Co., Ltd. The company was established on October 29, 2002, and later changed its name to Thai Occupational Health Research Center Co., Ltd. on March 12, 2013 (until the present).
  • The company provides mobile occupational health check-up services to businesses nationwide (until the present).

A.D. 2008 - 2012

Certified for ISO 9001:2008 quality on August 25, 2008 (currently ISO 9001:2015). Established the Thai Occupational Health Foundation with the mission “We will be a social business organization” on August 26, 2009.

  • To promote and develop health, disease control and prevention, and surveillance of occupational and environmental diseases.
  • To conduct training and disseminate knowledge on health care, workplace safety, and surveillance and prevention of occupational and environmental diseases.
  • To support scholarships, research, and activities for public benefit or collaborate with other charitable organizations for public benefit.

A.D. 2013 - 2017

Established a training unit for occupational safety officers:

  • Training for Safety Officers in Executive Level (Safety Executive Officer)
  • Training for Safety Officers in Supervisor Level (Safety Supervisor Officer)
  • Training for Safety Officers in Technical Level (Safety Technical Officer)
  • Training for the Committee on Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment (Safety Committee)

Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare and the Thai Occupational Health Foundation to promote safety, occupational health, and environmental work, as well as research and development in the education sector.

Supported activities to instill the concept of “Good Citizens with Excellent Discipline” based on the “STARS STEMS” idea.

A.D. 2018 – 2022

  • Established SEMED Living Care Hospital to provide comprehensive occupational health services.

  • Provided occupational health check-up services to over 500 businesses.

  • Served and treated over 10,000 COVID-19 patients in a Hospitel setting.

  • Certified as a network laboratory for COVID-19 testing by the Department of Medical Sciences.

  • Opened the “20 Years Thai Occupational Health Research Center” building.

A.D 2023 - Future

  • Expanded health services to become a medium-sized general hospital (89 beds).
  • Established a medium-sized health promotion hospital (specialized) (55 beds).
  • Founded the SEMed Academy Learning Center offering a Patient Care Assistant course.
